AVAA maintains an active and diverse membership of all backgrounds and styles. Many artists who began their careers with AVAA are now prominent artists, arts leaders and mentors in the community. Others are moving forward in the field with innovative works as emerging and mid-career artists. We reach a large secondary audience of artists through our programming, communications and community partnerships.
